Rescues with Your Host Morticia
Well almost every moved out.... Pugsley the 3
legged wonder stuck around to keep the backyard rid
of anything over the size of an ant from moving.
A Story of his Winning Cigarette Girl Costume contest
can be read in the RESCUE SUPPORT COMMITTEE
REPORT in Barks 2002 - Winter.
Pugsley was dog aggressive
and did not have any manners,
well now you see he lets
Blanche win the stick, she
sleeps snuggled with him in the
same open create or couch
today. Sometimes with Morticia.
Her name is Cleopatra and we are located in Port Saint Lucie. Let me just tell you that she is the best dog EVER. We’v never
experienced problems with her. She is good with kids and other dogs and she listens real well. She loves going out on the
boat...she gets us to take her for a ride just about everyday :) she is great. Thank you so much!

Higgins is doing great! It is hard to believe that he was abused as a
youth. He has made himself quite at home. He likes to sit out back
by the pool and really can entertain himself for long periods. It's
almost like having a toddler around....he plays hard and gets crazy
and the next thing you know he is snugged up against you on the
couch. He is a pleasure and you did a terrific job with his rehab.

Roxy was an owner surrender from the South Florida area. The
owner cared for this dog so much he realized she needed a new
home where someone could be home for her. Roxy was only in my
care for 3 days before she was placed with a great family in the
Ruskin area of Florida. There she has a stay at home mom and 3
young boys to keep her busy.
I received a call from the Coral Springs Police Department that they picked up a recently
bred, starved little white girl and asked If I would help. I picked her the next day, MG she
was terribly starved.
Lucky enough for her along came Amy, which came recommended by a friend. It was love
at first site. Both for Amy and I. I fed her 4 times a day and gave her everything I could. For
a standard she was only 28 lbs. By the time she left here she was 32.
Tyson was originally promised to be adopted right out of the shelter but that fell through now we can show the world this beautiful boy. He will soon be posted on the BTCA site as well. To apply to adopt this fine looking, housebroken, good with dogs, healthy, micro-chipped and up to date shots, please click on this link and mention his name, Click on this link to directly apply for adoption.

Max is a small white standard bully that is in great health and has a great disposition, his only problem is almost completely deaf. Max needs to be the only dog in the house. He gets along fine with dogs that are bigger than he is, but smaller ones... no way. We are going to assume this means NO CATS as well. Max's disability is not really noticeable as he is not 100% deaf and picks up on movement and scent to compensate. Go to Click on this link to directly apply for adoption.

Stewart is a fine example of the heartwarming teamwork we have been enjoying in the South Florida Bull Terrier Rescue League. Stewart has a little bit of cleaning up to do. He is being treated for demodox, but otherwise other than needing to gain a couple pounds he is healthy, walks great on lead and listens well. Go to Bull Terrier Club of America, then Click on Rescue Tab.

a shelter as an owner surrender with records. She is 3 years old. She is

Clyde was took in on August 30th, he will be ready for release around the 19th
of September. He is a social sweet less than 2 year old boy that is being
treated for Demodectic mange. He has a great head and laid back personality.
We will be taking more appropriate photos and video this weekend. He was an
owner surrender that came out of Miami.

My name is Julie Argyle, I'm looking for a warm, fun and loving
family/person for my dog Argyle. Argyle is a 2 1/2 yr. old Bull Terrier.
She is a pure breed with the National Kennel Club, Inc. Registration
certificate. (Sorry SFBTRL does not forward those) Her weight is 50lbs
and she is full grown. She is mostly white with brown markings
around her ears. She is housebroken, fun, energetic, strong, friendly
dog who needs your loving attention. Argyle is spayed and is
up-to-date with all shots. She comes with a lot of toys, a bed and a
doggie crate if needed. Please click this link to apply to adopt her or
find out more information

SFBTRL would like to keep this rescue local to the South Fl area but are open to people willing to drive only
after all the home inspections our regulations for rescue have been met, in addition to local laws. She is a
really sweet young girl, we are trying to find out about how she does with cats, we will test that during the
standard 3 week waiting period. But so far she is okay with other dogs and has been quite the pampered
girl. She comes from Boynton Beach which is where we are located and is only being adopted out because
the people that own her are moving out of the country where the dog is not allowed.
ADOPTED 9-9-07 to a
great couple in Miami.
