Below is your money at work. It did not take hordes of money
to bring Sly to what he is today. Actually to bring Sly to where
he is today took reasonable vet fees. He was given a lot of
attention love, discipline and TLC.
No animal should be allowed to be
dropped off to a shelter without and
investigation leading to arrest and
3rd degree felony in FL. The
problem is if they enforce the law
they stop bringing them in.

A lot of abuse cannot be shown in
photos.  No immunizations that lead
to distemper and subsequent
euthanasia or outrageous neglect of
medical conditions such as last
stage heart worms is the same thing.
SLY we love you buddy!
We get many Bully's that have been abused
and or exploited for fighting or worse.
Fighting and baiting of Bull Terriers all over
the State of Florida is a problem. Most
notably in the remote areas of the State but
as we see in the news. We do not waste
money with overpriced Vets or boarding
facilities. We use great clinics and private
foster homes only.

There areas in the state where Bull Terrier
fighting is a weekly sport.  The weak are
used as bait, the strong for fighting.

We have had quite a few of these dogs come
in and it is not only heartbreaking it is
expensive to treat these dogs both physically
and mentally back to health. These are the
fortunate ones, the other ones we must say
goodbye to.

The South Florida Bull Terrier Rescue
League is setting aside a fund for abused
exploited or neglected dogs.   Dogs like SLY
are is no longer the dog when they came to
us.  They are with loving families,  forgetting
the past that brought them to us in the first
place.

From a Rescue, I deserve better
"Please God let my owners understand it's it just taking
me a while to train. Please speak to them to they do not
open the front door and just let me out because they
want to be in denial of it.
Forgive them they know not what they do.
Please allow rescue to grow in this FREE county so they
can call them instead. When I go out the front door I
may get hit by a car are picked up at a shelter and none
of us wants that, especially me".
