Diesel, a Norma Shepard success story
I watched Diesel for a month or so to get him through a cold he had
and he is back at the kennel while I go through a human adoption
process and deal with a health crisis. He may be a little mixed or very
old fashioned. But he is a sweet boy and loves living in the South
Orlando area now.

This is Marilyn (soon to be Lucia) and she is a very sweet girl. She was bred, then she was left to roam the streets of Coral Springs until the Police contacted me and I picked her up today 3-1-2007. So far I can tell you she is a really small sweet girl. Not a mini, but needs to put on about 15-20 lbs.

SOME SFBTRL ADOPTED DOGS !
|
This is Roxy and was is an owner surrender.
The owner needs to find a home for Roxy because he wants her to be in a
home where people can spend more time with her. Day care is not an
option because she does not mix well with other dogs. NO SMALL
ANIMALS. She is AKC registered and no heath problems. She is spayed.
She is current with all shots. House broken (never makes a mistake) and
is not destructive at all. She is well trained. She likes walks and plays with
toys and play catch.
Mackenzie the life of the party!
Mackenzie lived in Plantation Florida and her owner really needed to find a special
home for her. She is about 3 years old, she is spayed, she has all her shots, she
has a micro-chip. She just had her Front line on May 1 2007.
She does not like cats very much but has been around a Rottie for a while and does
not seem to have any problem with other dogs. She is very happy living where she is
right now. We could not have asked for a better couple to adopt her!
Ko-Ko - a sweet young girl
Mary Ann - the cuddle bunny
Ko-Ko came to us from a no kill shelter as the direct result of the BULLYTON. As fast I
had the chance to post KoKo she was placed. She is a dear sweet girl that really
needed a loving home. She is very young and has no known issues. She really does
like to sleep on chairs... Not couches but chairs like the one she is photographed in.
That one is a first for me, but no matter how many years you do this you learn every
day!
Mary Ann is a compact all ready to go girl that is very lovable and is an instant cuddle.
She seems okay with dogs AT FIRST - then she usually has problems with them. She
has never shown any human aggression at all but just to be on the safe side she will go
to only a SINGLE pet family and perhaps a home with no really small children. She
tends to be owner possessive.
Mary Ann is up to date on everything; has a chip, recent shots clean bill of health. She is
2 years old and is QUIET !
MOJO - What a great looking sweet boy!
Adopted June 18, 2007, This is Candece. She is a three years old and weighs 40 lbs. She is
up to date on her shots and has been spayed. She is very loving to people children, just not
small animals. She is house broken and create trained. She is very loving and likes to
cuddle on the couch at night.
He is okay with other dogs but we are saying a dog without another dog at this time. He is
allergic to summer fleas and ticks so we prefer she go to someone with a commitment to
being a one animal household.
Mojo is a dog that probably everyone in the BTCA had made calls and appeals to
have the shelter keep him. And everyone in SFBTRL. Someone graciously donated
transport for this guy on Death row. He was part of a confiscation. He received the
full works from SFBTRL, chip, alteration and shots and is very happy owning his new
family.
Candice - a night couch cuddler
Tallulah - the movie star?
Shelly a mid sized cutie
When we received Tallulah she had recently has given birth. Probably many many
times according to the Vet. Other than that she is past her quarantined period got
spayed on Thursday May 31st. She is a comical one. She is laid back, yet young
enough to have that crazy Bully spunk we all love. She just needs a good bath and a
nail job. She apparently is okay with cats and dogs alike. So far Mommy is very happy.
Shelly was adopted on June 22, 2007. She is a sweet girl just over a year old and has all
her shots and all. She needs to be an only dog because she wants to be the boss. No
cats as far as we know. She is good tempered she only barks when she should and she
is crate trained. In fact she loves her crate.
She was adopted by a really nice Woman that will take good care of this really sweet girll.
Sly was also featured on our Abused/Neglected tab. As you can see here he
has come a long way in a short time. He needed to gain about 15 lbs. He
does not show any signs of aggression. He loves his yellow Kong. He is not
food aggressive. He needs a little finishing school thats all!
He is all done shots neutered, micro chipped and he needs some manors but
no many, and he comes with a HIGH QUALITY crate and his favorite toys. No
cats!
SLY - We think he forgot about all that abuse!
Some Bully's Adopted out by SFBTRL
The dogs you see below have all been adopted and are living happy with really great family thanks to many
people too numerous to mention here. God bless all the families and people that helped these dogs. As
you look through these dogs you can get a sense of the diversity of this breed, not only in the looks but the
personalities that make up our Bully's.
Barney came into our rescue through the work we started doing with several of
the area shelters to obtain the dogs that are cruelty or abuse cases. All too
often, even though FL has strict animal laws the original owner can re-acquire
the animal. We are doing our best to see that they do not get them back. Barney
went to a home with a large Poodle! Yes we are not crazy but they love to play
and both of them have a great time. It is funny to see them together. They may
be a odd couple, in this they show us how our breed is both versatile and gets
along with others. Thank you Broward County HS.

Tank is about 8 months and will be available for adoption on August 8th, but you should get
your application in for him as soon as you can. He is just a puppy, he has no known health of
even behavior issues. He is being scheduled for neutering and the once over at our vet as
soon as we can. He can be visited now. To see more photos of TANK click here
The family that adopted Tank were some of the nicest people we have worked with and hope
they are as happy as he is having them. He is the sweetest boy to go with the sweetest family,
it worked out great.
Moe is a sweet MINI BULLY we rescued from Broward County. He is older, they
estimate from 5-8 year old. But he is really sweet and he is all caught up on his
shots and everything.
He went to a really great couple in West Palm Beach that love him to death. Spoil
him too. He is a great mini, 25 some pounds. He is learning to be more active
now and progressing well. Thank you Broward County HS.
Julieta was recently spayed, chipped and has all her shots as of August 6th.
She will be ready to adopt out very soon. She is only 23 lbs and they are
guessing her age at 6-8 months old. She is very quiet and completely crate
trained. She is very affectionate and clearly is a heart breaker. She is a funny
one tiny as anything. Thank you Miami Dade Animal Services.
She went to a wonder home here in this area!
Annie is sitting right here on my lap, as you can see she is a really tiny girl. We
are going to have to take her for spay, shots and have her up to date on
everything because she did not even come with a suitcase. She did come with
a big heart. She is good around dogs and apparently the owner had 2 cats so
based on that statement from the owner. She is so much better looking in
person. She is about 25 lbs. The couple that adopted here are very loving and
caring people and are very lucky as she is a real gem.
These Bull Terriers and the links to pages are dogs that have been adopted. Thank you!
