| IMPORTANT NOTE: Owner Surrenders We are a volunteer 501C3 charity, we do not function like your typical corporate machine. If you have a dog that you can no longer keep we obviously want to keep it out of the shelter. At the same time, the placement times vary greatly. I have personally fostered dogs for 9 months on more than one occasion. Some hurdles that are Key factors are if your dog is older, your dog can be the ONLY animal in the house. Those things usually make those dogs harder to place. We ask for your patience. We are not a service that typically can place a dog in a day or even a week. We ask for your patience and understanding when you must give up your Bull Terrier. And know that we are working VERY hard at trying to obtain a home for your pet. When you take in account that for the most part the foster system is full, and if your dog can be an only dog it may be some time before we can place the dog. We also have guidelines to follow and that also factors in the time for placements. |

He has always been in a home where he is the only dog
and he is dominate. The people that originally adopted
from him the shelter worked with him very hard and he is
well trained. He now walks on a lead very well, listens
well.
He is not aggressive, just dominate. He's a little over a
year old, neutered and micro-chipped and up to date
ready to go. He is being fostered in the Melbourne FL
area.

now. He is a great guy, does not bark, perfectly house trained. He is a
classic young male brindle and white with good muscle tone. He has
no known conditions. He is not good with other dogs and therefore we
assume other animals such as cats are out of the question.
He is about a year and half old and very trainable. We are working with
him on what we feel are only minor character flaws.
